Special Concert Fundraiser

x_crystalA couple of weeks ago, I wrote a journal post hoping to inspire people to think of ways to make the rest of this year a meaningful one. I am not sure how much of an impact my message may have had upon others (I hope it did), but I ended up inspiring myself to think of something I could do. In turn, that gave me the thought to try to think of something that would not just be something I could do, but something I could start that would in turn involve and benefit many people.
To that end, I came up with the idea of putting together a special concert, one featuring mutant performers and designers. Along with Terry, I have spent the past weeks organizing and preparing for the concert. There will be two, one held in Attilan and one in New York. The one here will take place in one week's time, while the one in Attilan will take place on New Year's.
Everyone is welcome to attend one or both of the concerts. Due to the differences in locations and the availability of the participants, each concert will be different and some of the participants will vary. A note to one of the purposes of my idea: the event is a fundraiser. Although tickets are required for entry, there will be no cost for admission. As it is a fundraiser, donations of any size are encouraged and welcomed but not at all required. As for the money, it will be given to help rebuild the areas damaged in Manhattan in October.
Dancing both nights will be none other than Jennie Stavros. Also, please note that the outfits that will be worn by the performers were designed by Clarice Ferguson. A special thanks to Terry Cassidy, who knew of an already-existing band which is perfect for this event, and has done much planning and organization.
I hope to see more familiar faces there.

Dude, don't tell them about the dancing bit. We want to attract people, not drive them away. ;)

I am afraid it is a bit too late to keep from telling people that you, Jennifer (middle-name-I-will-not-mention-here) Stavros, will be showing your dancing talents; I cannot untell people what I wrote.
