The school year ends...
Jun. 6th, 2010 10:43 pmAnother school year at Xavier's has come to an end, bringing a conclusion to my second year of teaching at Xavier's, even if those two school years were not consecutive ones. Of course, a little over a week remains until Parents' Day and the official ceremony celebrating the graduation of the Xavier's Class of 2010, so all school matters are not quite finished at this time. Still, the last lesson of the year has been given, textbooks have been closed and put away, and there are three full months of summer vacation ahead of teachers and students alike.
I will be splitting my time this summer between New York and Attilan, and if I find that I have the time I may visit other places as well, but I know that I already have a very busy summer ahead of me. I will be here to continue my medical education; I have completed the EMT-Basic training as recognized by the city of New York, but I am continuing on with the additional training needed in order to allow me to become a certified Paramedic in this city. This both has and will continue to involve much time and effort on my part, including numerous hours spent away from both the mansion and Attilan, but it is my belief that the end result will be more than worth it.
What plans do you have for the next few months?
