Marching into April
Mar. 27th, 2009 04:59 pmAnother month is coming to an end, and with it brings the promise of a new month with new experiences and new ideas. I have spent a lovely month in Ireland, and being there for the St. Patrick's Day festival was wonderful.
Both my traveling companion and I are excited about the Erfurt International Symposium on Mutation, an upcoming international conference in which numerous specialists on the subject of mutation will gather together in Germany to discuss said subject. It is sure to be an event well worth attending; therefore, the next stop on the Laurie Collins World Tour 2009 is Germany. I know that multiple people involved with Xavier's will be present, either as representatives or attendees, so I am sure that I will see some familiar faces there.
Have a great week, and I will see some of you next weekend!

Marching into April? I admire your taste in many things, but Crystal? That pun in the title of your post is truly atrocious.

What? I cannot be the first person to have thought of this exact phrase.

It is still a pun, and therefore, groan worthy.

My apologies for making you groan?

By a certain school of thought - one that appreciates puns - a groan is the sign of a good pun.
Fortunately, that is a school of thought I follow.

That is most fortunate, indeed.

Is there such a thing as a good pun?

Your girlfriend says that there is, yes?

I'll be following the Erfurt conference from home, unfortunately, but here's hoping that you and Mademoiselle Collins find it worthwhile.

Germany! How can anyone not be excited about a trip to Germany, and the chance to talk to a bunch of doctors about mutation? I can't _wait_ for some of the seminars. There's one by this guy, Dr Strahn, on mutant biology and some studies they've been doing in Sweden into maladaptive mutations.
It's fascinating stuff.

I've been doing some reading up. After the convention, how do you feel about hanging around to do tourist stuff? Also, there's a tour starting in London after that, a whole bunch of countries while traveling on a bus with people around our age.
It'll be a great way for us to take a look at things and then decide which places we want to go back and spend more time in.
